so, what is the big deal about the dry and wet counties?

I live in Benton(dry), but I am only a few miles from Washington where I can go and purchase to bring it home.

However, when I tried that the first time, my local Wal-Mart did not carry even beer. Went to the 'abc' store, where the price seemed a bit higher than I was used to, and at age 40+ I got carded. Not to check my age, but to scan my drivers license into the state system so they know who is buying alcohol!!

My next trip for beer will take me to missouri where that should not happen.
