When using city-data detailed profile--------and researching many hundreds of towns-----I have observed that the racial breakdown of smaller cities will tell me what to expect in crime rate ( which is shown farther down the profile )

90% white, 10% black-------crime rate below national average
75% white, 25% black-------crime rate slightly above national average
50% white,50% black-------crime rate way above national average

I have found that --race-- is the more accurate indicator of the crime rate than poverty, median income, or education level attained.

I wish this wasn't the case, but in my research of cities in AR, AL, GA, and MS it certainly is.

Yes, posters can show me isolated instances where that isn't the case, but in the vast majority of places it is the case.

I have found many small towns ( predominately white) that has poverty, low median income, and still a low crime rate.

Finding a similar sized town, with similar statistics and a black population of 50% is very hard to find.

It is what it is !
Reads like racist, bigoted KKK crap. Noted: lack of credible sources.

Here's a source for you: http://os.cqpress.com/citycrime/City...8_Rank_Rev.pdf

It's not racist to point out something that's supported by statistics, as unsavory as it may be.

The irony in all of this is the racist connotations that are being used by Cespeed in accusing posters of being members of the KKK. I have the feeling that this thread will not last too long with that type of vitriolic rhetoric.
