We have company from NM coming on Wednesday. We might take them to Eureka Springs. We are still trying to decide. She is on oxygen and can't do too much walking, but we certainly do not want to spend 3 days in the house just staring at each other.

The leaves are just now starting to turn yellow here in Van Buren. In a few weeks, it will be the perfect time for that drive up into the Ozarks. Fall is always the most beautiful time in Eureka Springs and the surrounding area.

Nita....why don't you call the ES Chamber of Commerce and see if there is anywhere in town that rents some kind of Hoveround-type power chair?

Our leaves here in BV are gold, red and some still green, but it hasn't begun to peak yet. I would say another couple of weeks. Actually last year the peak was the first week of Nov.
