Question Russellville Area Newspapers

Hi y'all...

I'm going to be on a Russellville radio station later in May. I'd like to send a press release about the topic to the local papers, but I don't know what papers people in Russellville and Dardenelle (did I get that right) read?

This would be K-CAB radio.

If you listen, and heard me on April 18 talking about the crime of the amount of interest lenders charge on mortgages, I'd like some feedback so I can tailor this next show more to local needs.

So, tell me about the newspapers, please, and whether you listen to KCAB.

Thanks!

The local paper is The Courier - I don't believe Dardanelle has their own paper - and the Courier doesn't come out on Mondays, so bear that in mind.

Phone is 479.968.5252

Address is

201 E. 2nd St.
Russellville, AR 72801 (I think that is still 01 over there - you might check with the www.usps.gov site)

Sorry, no radio listener here...!

I think Morrilton also has a paper, don't know about Clarksville. Most everyone reads the Arkansas Democrat...I think you can reach them through this site:

Default Thanks & Question

Thanks, Sam-I-Am,

OK, The Courier...Russellville people read that, or they prefer the Ark. Democrat? Or they read both?

Very helpful. Thank you!

We read both - the Courier has the local news and everyone is related, so we all get to see our relatives shine (or not so much in my family......)....it has more local stuff in it and is a very small paper. We get the NW Arkansas edition of the Democrat-Gazette, which is basically the same one as Little Rock but comes off the press earlier and on Sundays has more of the "happenings" around here than Little Rock. Most everyone gets both papers - or just goes to the PDQ in the morning to figure out what's happening in the world!
