New to Ozark, AR
Just recently moved to Ozark, Ar from Frisco Texas. I love it here but not sure how to make contacts in such a small town. I am hoping to do some child care in my home or work at a child care center close by. I just don't know how to go about it since I know absolutely no one here. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Maybe a notice on a community bulletin board?

I don't know if you are a church going person, but if you are, a lot of the churches here in Ft. Smith have child care services. That may help.

Both the above suggestions would be a start. In order to do childcare in your home you really should have a license so you may want to check into that. Most parents prefer to put their kids in licensed homes.

What Nita said.
If you have more than 5, it's required.

If you don't have more than 5, and one takes a dive because of a health issue, most all civil courts will then want anything you may have, or dream of having, for the next 20 years.
Heaven forbid if they choke on a gummi bear.

My sister lives there. The last time I visited I went to church. I think it was the Presbyterian one at north 4th and College. Anyway, there were only about 15 people there and she and her family were the only ones under 75 so she'd be easy to spot. It was late in the morning on Sunday. Ask for Kim, tell her Rick sent you. Alternately, she works out of the Mulberry post office when she isn't nursing. She married into a family there, lived there 16-18 years. Believe me that is plenty of time to know everybody. She's very friendly and would have ideas of people for you to talk to.

Frisco - Home of mighty FC Dallas! [I am a fan].
I can tell you this - There are tons of non-traditional students going to school at ATU-Ozark who have children. If you could post an ad on a bulletin board [assuming that they have a bulletin board to do such a thing] at the school, you should have no problem getting children to watch while their parents are at school.
