Default Rose Bud Arkansas

Hello

We are looking to relocate to Rose BUd Arkansas. We currently live in Michigan, but due to the automotive industry we are considering buliding a home on family land. Unfortunately I have not been able to find any info on Rose Bud! Does anyone know what it is like? Also how is the job market?

just looked it up: north of Little Rock, about 500 people and doesn't sound like there is much there. To get more information just search for Rosebud, Ar under google. Hope this helps a little.

Right up the road in Heber Springs was an automotive suspension assembly plant that was owned by Superior Industries. I had heard they sold it so I don't know if it's still there or not.

Rose Bud is a speed trap in a wide spot on the road from Little Rock to Heber. There is a nice marker there (not super by any means) and a small corner diner with good fried chicken. Yes, and there are several churches. Welcome to Arkansas!

In Little Rock, I worked with an OR nurse from Rosebud. She was pleased to be out of there.

Hi, I went to school in Rosebud back in the 60s. Went back through there a few years back and it really hadn't changed much! I loved it there and would love to move back myself! Not much there, but that is what I like. Great people!

Default Rosbud

Hello,

Noticed your post was back in May 07, so this response might not help. I've lived all over Arkansas, from the south to the north and now in the central part of the state. RoseBud is by far the best little town I've lived in. Rosebud is about 45 miles north of Little Rock, where most work. It is about 15 miles From Heber Springs, which has a great Lake. Branson MO is only about 2.5 hrs away, along with Memphis TN. Rosebud has a great small school were the kids have more 1 on 1 teaching. They are currently in the State Championship in Basketball, and just recently established football 2 years ago. My wife and I are both actively involved in the schools as volunteers. I work in Little Rock and the drive is about 45 minutes a day. Well worth the time to be out of Little Rock were the crime is too high. The closest shopping is in Heber Springs and Searcy. The Gas industry is booming right now in this area, which as a result has created hundreds of jobs. The jobs are not high paying (around 10-15 dollars an hr on average), but this has caused a big economic push in this area. They say it will be the next little Texas. Hope this helps.

Rose Bud is a great, but small, town. Searcy is only about 20 minutes away, so it's not too isolated. Heber Springs and Little Rock aren't far away, either.

Rose Bud High School boys just won the 3A State Championship last weekend. It was so exciting!

Hope you'll like it here!
