Default WA cop killer early release from AR?

Alleged that the guy who killed four cops outside of Tacoma, WA today was an early release prisoner from AR, under Huckabee. He is actually still just a person of interest, his name is Maurice Clemons. All reports are allegations.

Yep, and was governor of Arkansas between 96 and 07. He was criticized for his early release of some prisoners during his term. This one apparently turned out to be tragicically wrong.

The prosecutor ( now retired) who Rejected the clemency by Gov. Huckabee back then had this to say today,

" This is the day I've been dreading for a long time. If he is indeed the suspect in Washington, I am not surprised at all."

ohhh, I read this wrong the first time. I thought you were saying that the guy who killed four cops was released today by Huckabee. You are saying that he was released by Huckabee killed four cops today. Disregard post #2.

I don't know if he is or is not. I do know that a lot of criminals that should be held in prison are released early because of Jail overcrowding. The overcrowding is due to so many people being put into prison for petty drug related crimes. I wish they would not put these types in prison so that we can hold the real dangerous criminals in there a lot longer.

And there goes Huckabee's aspirations for the next Presidential election.

Doesn't make sense to only serve 11 years out of a 95-year sentence.

And this is not the first early release gone bad tied to Huckabee:

and that is too bad...but I fear you are right about this..This is the perfect example as to why I am pro capital punishment; no, his past crimes were not murder crimes, and yet look what he is being suspected of...Violent criminals should never be released as far as I am concerned. I don't believe this crap about too many minor drug convictions causing the over crowded conditions and that is why someone like this was released. Yes, there may be too many drug convictions, but if that is the case, release them, not hardened criminals.

In this particular case, Huckabee's reasoning was, the guy was only 17 at the time of the crime. It had nothing to do with crowded jails.
