Mountain View, AR - growth & development (Ozark: property, land)

I hear there are big things coming to this small quite town. Does anyone know where I can confirm rumors or find out what's up & coming in the area?

It has definitely boomed over the last 10 years - we have a cabin on the river there and the tourist trade is picking up all the time. I don't know what new development you are talking about - the Ozark Folk Center is close, as are the caverns - of course there is music on the square downtown which is getting close to becoming a zoo...but a nice zoo. The trout fishermen seem to have truly found this spot - land right on the river has gone through the roof compared to what it was when we built (we couldn't afford our own place now!)

What "big things" are you talking about and I'll try to help?

I was there last weekend, lots of stuff to do, except on Sunday afternoon, the town gets dead around 4. Anglers is a good place to eat though. Kids loved the music downtown! Dint know they had built a supercenter vs the little Wm they used to have.

There's been weird rumors of disney land buying property here(I live here), but it's just that, rumors.
