Lets face it people the reactor's are going to blow and it ain't going to be good. Some are already beyond any turning point. This facility is the largest in the world and it going to be bad. Japan only has a radius of evacuation of 30 miles in any other country it would be 50 miles and the evacuees are complaining about the 30 miles already. There tired their hungry the shaken but they better get moving. We are talking 8 nuclear reactors only a few in danger of a meltdown but once those go we know the others are behind them. think about it.

Japan is known as an aging country and 30% of them live in the affected area. The area effected has the highest number of seniors in any other area in Japan. They better get moving is all I can say 30 miles possibly even 50 ain't far enough.

I think we should not jump to conclusions about meltdowns. Time will tell.

there is SO MUCH misinformation on the news--web sites post info like it is new when it is two days old--

I am not happy with the German nuclear power guy who basically made an announcement of the disaster's situation and then was contradicted by other sources--making him sound like Chicken Little

I have a real problem with how this information is being released--
frankly I wish there would be a total news blackout except for official sources who KNOW what they are talking about vs news people who just want to get their shoes and nose in trouble...

I read that even once electric is restored there will still be a while before it can cool because they got to clean the salt water off the reactors before starting them back up they are contaminated now.

I'm sure the snow help out alot. I hate reading media they get everyone so upset. Snow is a good thing right now over there. Even rain would be welcomed over there right now I would imagine.

Actually ...

snow and rain would cause the radioactive contaminants to fall more locally, leading to the potential for that 30 mile radius to be completely uninhabitable for a few years if the rain and snow continued.

The last thing they want is rain and snow. What they want is a wind (and a strong one at that) blowing the plume out into the pacific, then have it rain over a dispersed area.

Is it? I am not so sure. Anyway, this is not the Religion forum so why don't we keep prayers out of it?

My thoughts are with the Japanese and I hope they get the reactors under control.
