Lol..thanks guys. I guess y'all have personal experience with this stuff right? lol. Anyways, about those "ktv's" are those on the mainland or we still talking about Macau here?
Gotta start saving up. Although tbph, main goal is really just curiousity, but since it seems I get more bang for my buck in China (PUN NOT INTENDED) . I'll probably still try a hostess place, but I'll wait until I'm in my 30s or something, like 10 yrs down the line. The maid cafe thing is prolly the first thing I'll do though, since I could pick up a few eroge, doujins and figures in Akihabara and go to a cafe and see what its like.
Also, I don't have any tattoos. Not bulky either, like 5'11, 150lbs tops so I don't think I can be mistaken for a Yakuza or something.

Are you American or Chinese? If you're just an American who looks Chinese, you're going to be just as much of a foreigner as anyone else, you'll still stick right out if you don't speak the language.

That's what I meant, if he is Chinese-American as in born here or is he Chinese-American as in immigrated here.
If he was born here, no one will confuse him for anything and he'll stick out like a sore thumb.

it already is the biggest. just not popular with westerners, and never will be due to the language barrier. for westerners it's difficult to say what the next hot destination will be.

I think the fact that prostitution isn't actually even allowed on the Strip (correct me if wrong) has something to do with it.

macau does make vegas look like a stale family destination, but most adult destinations do. vegas has always been extremely tame. only among americans does it have a sin city reputation. i'd compare it to amsterdam in that regard, it's popular consensus that it's a sin city, but in reality it is about as far away as you can get from being a sin city destination.

I immigrated to the US when I was 3, I was native born since both my parents were US citizens ( i.e. US citizen born abroad). So I'm defacto born here. I'm fluent in conversational Chinese, reading I'm a little behind.
