Wanted to ask you guys a question regarding traveling in the Middle East. I keep hearing that if I visit Israel, I will not be able to enter most Middle Eastern countries due to the fact that I have an Israeli stamp in my passport. Is this true?

Not just Middle East, but most Muslim majority countries will not let you enter such as Malaysia and Indonesia and Brunei.

The UAE probably will let you in and Jordan as well. But when you go to Israel you can have them stamp a separate piece of paper so it doesn't show in your passport that you ever visited there.

Wow, kind of surprised that it's true. Does anyone know which countries do and don't allow admission? I'm surprised about Indonesia and Malaysia even though they're predominately Muslim. Does Turkey allow entrance? Or any of the Balkan nations?

Afghanistan, Algeria, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen will not let you enter.

Bangladesh, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia and Pakistan may let you enter or they may not. Just depends on the border guard, I guess.

Balkans, Turkey, UAE, Oman are fine.

Is there a website where I can check which countries do allow? Or are you going by personal experience? There are some more countries I'm wondering about...
Azerbaijan? (I'm guessing it's OK)
North Africa? (Morocco/Tunisia/Algeria/Egypt/Libya?)

The countries I listed that won't let enter are the only ones. The rest pretty much ignore it. No country in Europe will bar you from entering. That includes countries in the Caus Caus region.

Does the same apply vice-verse? Can I enter Israel with stamps from Muslim countries?

You can. But there is the possibilty of some extra questioning by the IDF.

Makes me re-think my travel plans to Israel, although aside from Turkey the Middle East is not in my immediate travel plans. I suppose if I travel to Israel close to before my passport expires in 3 years, everything will be fine when I get a new passport?
