Gender Segregation in the Middle East - specifically UAE, Oman, Qatar, Turkey?
Basically, I don't think there is much gender segregation in Turkey. But I do recall visiting and seeing a Turkish fastfood restaurant that had it. Women sat in a completely different part of the restaurant altogether from the men. It stuck out, and probably the exceptional case.
I've heard that Saudi Arabia is definitely on the VERY gender-segregated side of things.
Curious how UAE/Dubai, Qatar, and Oman might fit on the spectrum?
