There are about 1.33 bln. Chinese people in the world, roughly about 20% of the world population. Statistically, the probabillity is very high to meet one of them, compared to other nation's people.

Lots of reasons.

In America, for example, we would ship them over here as virtual slaves (along with Africans and Irish) to work on building the railroad. In Japan, many were brought over to work as cheap labor to build up Edo and Meiji Japan. In Europe, the modern world introduced fast transport, and like minded people congregate... much easier for immigrants to go to what they know.

Used to be that way too in America. That's why you have traditional Irish and Polish neighborhoods on the south side of Chicago.

Well every reasonable sized city I have been to, with an pop of over an million people have at least an China town or place where an large proportion of locals are Chinese. Well reason why Chinese are everywhere is they represent 20% of the worlds population and many Chinese moved from China due to wars, or escape from communist rule or other major problems China been going though.

It may have to do with the fact that only something like 9% of Americans have a passport and most of those that do spend their time in Mexico stuffing their faces full of buffet dinners while relaxing at their timeshare.

you will see those people who have spirit of adventure, travel and enterpreneurship.
