In any group of people, there will be a few nuts. Japan is known as an exceptionally safe country, but unfortunately bad things happen there just like anywhere else.

IF someone had convinced him that his logic should have applied to himself, there would've been only 1 life taken. Unfortunately, crazy people don't know that they're crazy even after being temporarily institutionalized. I thought the interesting thing was that none of the people interviewed seemed to assign responsibility for his being released.
