I just booked a trip which stops over in Abu Dhabi. Our layover is 6 hours and 40 minutes and arrives at just before 8pm. A few questions.
1) Is it worth it going out? I don't know much about Abu Dhabi and not sure how much is going on after 8pm there.
2) VISA stuff. My last name is "famously" Jewish (I however am not, nor have ever been). I think some people with my last name had to do with the formation of Israel. I've never been to Israel or anything. I just want to make sure if I do go out that they won't look at my last name and be all weird for it. Safe right?
3) If we don't go out into the city, how good is the Ethiad lounge there? I have also heard Ethiad will give you a hotel if it's a 7+ hour layover. Any chance for 6 hours and 40 minutes?
