I think Southern Chinese usually have the fuller rounder faces, Vietnamese usually have narrower features

narrower face, narrower body, smaller head

some Vietnamese say they can always tell who the Chinese are by the big faces / broad face

I can tell neither of you have been to Vietnam, or Southern China or Singapore.etc. Vietnamese faces are clearly even ROUNDER than S.Chinese, I'm not the only one who has commented on this. Northern Chinese are narrower than S. Chinese, and S.Chinese narrower than Viets.

Who told you that? That's a load of *******s.

I have a friend whose face is as wide as it is long. I've never seen that among the Chinese. And she's not that uncommon. I met her while I was in Vietnam.

Here's a photo I took in Hanoi showing some Viet girls. Clearly, their faces can't get any rounder than that. I'm not bashing them, it has it's own appeal and they tend to be quite cute, just saying, it's totally incorrect to say Chinese have rounder faces.

I dunno, he could be full because a lot of Filipino men look like him. Compared to the other Filipino celebs back then, he looks very Filipino. But she looks mixed but maybe not recently, probably a few generation back. Ejay claims she's a quarter Chinese.

My grandmother looked a bit like her in old photos, the face, hairstyle and everything.

What was she, Malaysian? The woman in the pic even looks a bit Caucasian.

btw, for those who dont know, these are the grandparents of the girl in the 2nd pic on the 1st page. That's why we're discussing.

She was a Nonya, a hybrid Chinese-Malay culture, from Penang. The woman in the pic does look a bit Caucasian, but it's also possible that she's just a very European looking Asian. I do think there's at least a trace of Spanish though.
