I have visited the Philippines in many areas like Cebu,Manila and Davao, I don't think those guy you posted look typical in anywhere of the Philippines. That kind of looks are quite rare to see when I was there, only a few real few.

No, these people can't pass in Southern China. They especially can't pass in Hong Kong. I think Filipinos need to stop being ashamed of their Melanesian roots. There is nothing wrong with being brown. Brown is beautiful!

they're all just estimates. That's the lowest number I read, I've read up too 200,000. It's hard to get an exact number. There are many lowland Filipinos who look more Negrito than people who consider themselves Negrito. And then there are some Negritos who look just like lowland people

I think these are Agta? Anyways, we are not actually ashame of our negrito/austronesian/melanesian or what so ever you call it but other Filipinos make up of today is more than that already. so you'll see different looks of a Filipino due to the mixing of different waves of migration.

Yeah. Unfortunately. Hong Kong and Taiwan is pretty anti-"non white" foreigner (maybe except for Japan and Korean) these days they have a very critical eye in picking out who's foreign just based on clothing and hair style. Both of my parents are of Southern Chinese stock and I get people asking where I'm from Korea or elsewhere (even from Korean ajummas and Hong Kongers) all the time.
