Doesn't matter we have more global retails and restaurant than Philippines in general, and the malls are large enough, do you even see Singapore on the list and yet they become regional shopping center.

That is something you must back up. I was able to establish my claim with a back up. Not just a blind statement.

As for Singapore, that is questionable. That could be a tag thSG is using but not necessarily mean SG is really the shopping center.

Super Malls are scattered in every corner of the Philippines. I can give you a list if you want. Enough for me to say that the Philippines is luckier than Indonesia in terms of Malling.

Huge malls are also in cities of indonesia, doesn't really impress me.

Singapore is the most famous shopping destination in southeast asia.

This is all about Manila v. Jakarta anyway. In terms of malling, Manila wins!

SM malls are middle-tier. Some of them have upscale scores, like SM Megamall and SM Aura, but SM mostly caters to the middle and working classes.

Isn't it more appealing to have so beautiful malls for the poor and middle class people rather than to have malls for the few elite?

Manila though is ALSO a home of so many malls for the elite.

And what makes you think that lower middle class mall doesn't exist in Jakarta? Actually it also reflects the spending power of the people.

Not as much as Jakarta though. Anyone who has ever visited these two cities know that Jakarta's upper class is so much more massive than Manila's. Jakarta has the largest luxury brand name shops in Southeast Asia. It also has a lot of luxury shops that aren't available anywhere in Southeast Asia other than in Singapore.

No mall from Indonesia is included. Enough reason for me to say that Philippines is luckier in terms of Malling.

again false equivalence. bigger does not equal better. my friend who have been to MOA in Manila says its full of cheap shops. just saying.

Making conclusion out of a simple statement. Not good.
