415.....Not sure how your doing in Panyu, but I would check out The Brew bar. It shouldn't be too far from where you live, and it's a good place to meet up with other foreigners (esp North American's). Good luck

If it is some other countries, most africans would have difficulty getting a visa before entering.

I wonder why the Chinese government do not expel those people who have long overstayed their visas.

I assume it's because of how much China has invested in Africa these days, and they are rather lenient with the African community and visas. Over the last couple of years, I have seen a reduction in African's, esp the ones who are conducting illegal practices on the streets of Jianshe Liuma Lu and other expat areas.

I do see a lot of Africans in Europe and America though.

In Guangzhou illegal Africans have been a serious problem, but not in other Chinese cities. Just 1 or 2 months ago, Beijing also expelled two Italians (maybe British citizens). They worked in restaurants illegally.

There are not a lot of things to see in Guangzhou.

Going to mainland China requires a China visa, HK and Macau allows visa free visit to many different countries' passports holders.

ANything there worth seeing?
