Because that look is typical of the Visaya region, also common in most of the rest of the Philippines except for Southern Luzon

I have college friends from San Francisco whose family reminds me of this family.
I would say they look like 1st or 2nd generation Filipino Chinese Americans, meaning they're 100% Chinese but orginated from the Chinese community in the Philippines when they immigrated to the US. The pic in front of the Catholic church gives a hint of this. I noticed that there are more Chinese Catholics from those that originated from the Chinese community in the Philippines. The lady in the blue suit is probably not a direct family member, she has a more of a malay look to her.

Just my guess.

Peruvians due to ethnic makeup and their resemblance to a Chinese-Peruvian family (with some mix of other ancestry) I know.

Mixed race but black. This kind of family can be found in any immigrant community mixed of White and Asian.

I'll give you a clue the older women in the photos are also half indian which may explain that.
