I have never travelled to Asia before. I am wondering which airline those of you who travel there frequently prefer, and why.

Feedback appreciated!

I don't like Cathay. Singapore is my pick for overall good service and food. EVA's service is pretty good. I don't like their vegetarian meals are awful though.

I have had good experiences consistently with JAL and EVA.

Cathay has been mixed (some of the in-flight staff have really rude attitudes) for me.

Asiana, Thai, as well as Korean Airlines has been good.

My wife flew Singapore Airlines recently to Asia and remarked at how good the service was.

I have also flown American to Narita Airport from LAX and the service was mixed.

This is a no brainer. SINGAPORE of course!
safety, hospitality/service, food, pretty flight attendants, etc everything is good!

Singaporean and Korean, in my opinion.

I love the Korean commercial:

You better ask in Asia Pacific, what airline is not good because most of them are excellent comparing to airlines in Europe or America. The not good ones are those cheap Mainland China's airlines. Rude as usual.

I'm guessing one of the Middle Eastern ones, Emirates or Qatar.

China Airlines is a Taiwanese company and is very nice to fly on. Look for the purple flower livery.
