I said at least a family that survives. there's a lot of Filipino family that even they live in a village or subdivision they still struggles. unlike well known villages like Forbes park etc. thing where the rich and prominent lives. Even a college graduate still struggles to find a job in the Philippines etc. or earn more for a living because for them their life is still not okay it still between lower and middle class.

UrbanLuis I suggest only visiting upperclass rich folks in the city like in Manila
you will feel at home because they are the most hispanic looking...once you leave manila it starts to become more exotic to you and you might get homesick

Yes maybe that's it, although her eyes look small even for most S. Chinese.

MANY Filipinos I've met online seem to look kinda Chinese/Vietnamese/Thai rather than Malay, or at least somewhere in between. I've seen group pics and stuff, many have smallish eyes.

I don't care if they look Hispanic or not, or about their social status. I have many Filipino freinds here, I would like to meet all Kinds of Filipinos.

from what I know the most EA looking filipinos(not the han chinese migrants) were the people who came during the iron age 1,000-700 years ago...today they would be lumped in the general Malay label with people who came even earlier 2,000-6,000 years ago

I thought you wanted to visit Philippines because you only wanted to meet hispanic looking people...I was merely showing you where you would meet people who share your love of spanish

western visayan filipina

there is a clear difference

the more asian a filipino looks the less likely they are to identify as hispanic
from what I have seen the biggest propagators of spanish ancestry was mestizos themselves and negritos..
