Regarding the ranking of cities, no surprises New York and London are in the top tier.. But a bit surprised Tokyo have fallen from the level to be ranked together with New York and London..

Haven't been to Tokyo personally though so maybe hard for me to comment.. But hope to go there soonest possible...

HK & Singapore are the only 2 developed territories/countries in Asia that have English as an official language. English is not prevalent at all in Tokyo and Shanghai.

It's a lot more prevalent in Singapore than Hong Kong.

This is mostly true except that HK politics, stock market and entertainment news often appear and appear in English in singapore's media. They know the English names of HK actors and singers while we may only remember their Chinese names.
