If Chinese can reach Iloilo, then there is definitely a chance that one of that girl's ancestors has at least met a Chinese person before. You make it sound impossible. Anyway, post a link to the girl's facebook so we can ask her and stop speculating

oh really? tell that to any chinese, that in your esteemed opinion, the chinese are afraid of frontiers, that they won't go to rural areas to start a business there where they wont have competition.

Didnt Golden Tiger say that he met someone of Chinese descent in San Jose Antique? Ok, so now it's impossible to travel between different towns in the same province? So the Chinese can reach San Jose Antique but not the little town in Antique where it's impossible to reach. The girl's ancestors, who all lived and remained in that town forever, couldnt possible have ever come in contact with a Chinese person.

and? POST PROOF THAT ANTIQUE PEOPLE ABSOLUTELY HAVE NO CHINESE ANCESTRY AMONG THEM. post each and every antique resident's ancestry, then we can have legit discussion
Actually Karay-a people came from Southern China during the Iron Age

Recent findings, however, revealed that the ancestors of the Karay-a are the Austronesian-speaking immigrants who came from South China during the Iron Age.
Karay-a people - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

so your question is redundant....they Do not have Han ancestry among any of them....but they do come from Southern China

There is no way to tell....for all we know the girl could be like Hermosa....made up lineage

there is no chinese in San Jose....most likely one of her relatives may have married a chinese from iloilo(that is if anything she says is actually true)

Idiotic. Bicol is even poorer than the Western Visayas, but even in the small towns there were Chinese and even Indian men working there. Just because a place is poor doesn't mean that outside entrepreneurs wont go there. What about Korean-Americans setting up shop in the ghetto? Same concept.

Just like you're making up the lineage of some Facebook girl you don't even know. We could easily solve this problem if you linked us to her and we could ask her ourselves. If you cant trust what other poster's say, then why should we trust you?
