Goose feet and fish eyes were pretty strange at the time, but the food that was the most strange for me was a starfish that I ate last year in Qingdao. Inside the hard shell was pure green mush. Thankfully I had been drinking at the time.

In Japan you can try "Shiokara", which is raw squid guts in it's own pinkish liquid. It's something people usually eat at a Japanese style pub (izakaya). I can eat it, but I wouldn't say it's delicious.

Another thing you can find is baked tuna fish eyeball (I don't know what it's called); I've never tried it, but it looks very gooey and you have to kind of slurp it up with your chopsticks.

In Myanmar, they cooked the stomach of the pork. It is really weird

I wonder if the sea cucumber in Korea is pretty much the same as the one in China/Japan? Different colors or maybe it turns dark after being prepared? Just not used to seeing it pink....is it part of the starfish family?

Those are not sea cucumbers, they are spoon worms.

YUck its sound weird...how a person eat live squid, blowfish sashimi , snake, cocroaches sucks....my mind.so travelling in that are where quality food would serve.
