Taiwanese aborigines seem to have some affinities to Pacific Islanders that the Malayan group don't have as much. The Malays, Javanese, Dayak/Iban, Filipinos.etc seem to have more individuals who look more typically Mongoloid.

While the population of Western Indonesia such as Javanese,Sundanese ,Sumatra , Borneo ( Bidayuh & Dayak), Malays is still controversial may be out of the category of Austronesian. I think population " West Indonesian " are a mix of AustroAsiatic ( mainland asian ) + Austronesian (mainland asia ), the mixture may have occurred in Mainland Asia before they go to the fill West Indonesia region. ← I think this is the most correct .
This because geographical location Westren Indonesia closer to the Asian Mainland, thousands of years ago island Java, Sumatra and Borneo united to the mainland asia, while islands in Eastern Indonesia united with Islands in Oceania. Yes you may be right, population in Western Indonesia down from the Asian Mainland , I think it was Dai people having a mixture austro - thai.
any of your opinion, Indonesian are Austronesian speaking with groups in Philipines , Malaysia, Pacific Island etc.

I disagree. With the exception of people on Taiwan(The Penghu islands is not included), most Southern Chinese do not have some Austronesians ancestry. Austronesians do not populate Northern Vietnam and Southern China, including coast of Southern China. Austronesians have much darker skin color than most Vietnamese and Southern Chinese, different cultures and languages, they are sharply different from most Vietnamese and Southern Chinese. Baiyue people are much more related to Vietnamese, Lao, Thai and Zhuang than Austronesians. Taiwanese are Austronesians with lighter skin color because Taiwan is more north in latitude.

They are easily forgotten because in some ways they are not as distinct as the Australian aborigines and Maoris in NZ(also Austronesians).

Austronesians, Melanesians, Micronesians, Siberians, Ainus and Native people of the Americas are all Mongoloids

Papuans and Australian aborigines obviously do not have Mongoloid feactures.

Actually there is some Austronesian admixture among the Southern Chinese, especially on the maternal side. my sister is often mistaken for Filipino or Hawaiian, and she looks more Malay than she does most Chinese. Considering Austronesians lived in Southern China and then went to Taiwan, it's to be expected.

Many native Taiwanese prefer to be called or associated with immigrants from Mainland China and do not speak Taiwan Fukian dialect. There has been much struggle as much of their land became Fukianese farms over the last 2-3 centuries.

Some are very tall look more and more like Pacific Islanders. Women 5 ft 9 inches, bigger in frames.
They are all very friendly and speak Mandarin since public school teaches it.

The original Han settlers were mostly Hoklo from southern Fujian, many, probably most, have some aboriginal ancestry too. Support for independence is naturally highest among these. Unfortunately, more young people are speaking Mandarin instead of 'Taiwanese.'
