In Singapore you do not have to worry about being gay, what religion you prefer or the color of your skin as in this regard the people and Government are some of the most tolerant of any country in the world much less Asia. Not so in China.
It's the same in China.
In China religious organizations do need to be registered but it's not as bad as what western media tries to convince you.
Homosexuality is legal in China and there are gay bars in big cities. Some famous people in China are openly gay.

All Asians prefer light skin, no matter it is China or Singapore. However no one will beat you or kill you just because you are black. I see no difference there.

Homosexual sodomy was banned in the People's Republic of China from at least the twentieth century, until it was legalized in 1997. In 2001, homosexuality was removed from the official list of mental illnesses in China

Prostitution will be illegal forever in the USA, too, so what does that say about the democracy in the USA?

I don't think there is a single country in the world where it is not, to some fairly general extent, illegal. In many countries, it is legal on a peson-to-person basis, but brothels are illegal.

Most Chinese believe that prostitution should be legal, if China is a democracy, it's possible that prostitution will be legalized someday.

USA is a republic, not a democracy.

Americans are extremely conservative, that's why many Americans believe prostitution is morally wrong. If most Americans believe that prostitution should be legal, it is possible that prostitution will be legalized in the US in the future. By the way, there are a few brothels legally operating in rural towns in Nevada.

Seriously, many Americans don't realize that US is almost the most conservative and religious country in civilized world. Rick Perry was elected multiple times for a reason.

China is also a republic.

"Republic" refers to the way the government is structured and the procedures that government follows.

"Democracy" refers to the way that the members of that government are selected to serve.

The two concepts have absolutely nothing to do with each other. Canada is a democracy but not a republic. Cuba is a republic but not a democracy. There is simply no link.

Your statement is as absurd as saying something is blue, not square.

This fact was taught in political science class. I'm not the inventor.

The link below explains why. However, I think it's kind of off-topic.
