Where would you rank Hong Kong in a 'world's beautiful harbors' list?

At the very top but I'm biased. I lived there for a few years in the late 60s and it stole a big piece of my heart.

It'd be pretty high up there....if you could actually see it through all the smog. Took the star ferry for nostalgia's sake last time I was in HK. Couldn't see **** on either side.

Very high up there. Last time I visited HK, I was staying at a hotel that overlooked Victoria Harbour. The view was spectacular, I loved looking at it at night.

Last time I was there, I went up the Peak and could only just make out the water on the Hong Kong side, let alone see the other side of the Harbor.

Let's put it in a ranking with other similar famous harbor cities - Sydney, Cape Town, etc.?

What other cities would you rank up there with Hong Kong, and in what order?

It ranks high, right along with Sydney Harbor. On a trip to HK, I visited the famous "Victoria Peak" and had dinner at the Peak and went to the observation deck afterward. Beautiful.

I also flew from LAX on Cathay Pacific, on an afternoon departure, which arrived in HK (old airport, Kai Tak) in the evening and we passed over the harbor, and it was a beautiful, breathtaking view.
