Filipinos everywhere? I would CHinese and Koreans are the ones who are everywhere. Even in thirdworld countries, Chinese migrate everywhere and Koreans open up slave labour like sweatshops all over the world, Including the Philippines.

There should be a Philipines sub forum under the main Asia forum due to its popularity, it deserves its own forum, doesn't everyone agree?

I've been proudly associated with Filipinos since my days as a young USN Sailor at the age of 19. As stated within the "14 Reason . . ." article, my Filipino Shipmates/Commrades At Arms/Fellow Propulsion Engineers were hard working, savvy, disciplined, friendly and hospitable. It should be of no surprise that they are highly sought after in the business of High Seas Transhipment.

Today, I am in my 50's and a significant portion of my co-workers are of Filipino descent. The same accolades apply. It's an honour to work side by side with honourable men of character.

Maraming Salamat Po!

I wouldn't say they are all over, why do you say that? Most in the Philippines do not even have home access to the web, they use internet cafes. Young people there are interested in the western culture and follow popular trends, bands and so on via the internet. And most know English, there are more sites and forums for them to easily browse. There are a lack of jobs in the Philippines, so having time available may also be a factor in why you seem to be seeing them "everywhere" online. There are not many on this forum.

Here's a better question, why do some Americans check Facebook 20 times a day and tweet about every bowl movement they make?

This forum isn't that popular, so I don't know that a Filipino subforum would be necessary. It may stimulate more threads regarding recent news. I never read anything here about the terrible bombing in a mall restaurant in Cagayan de Oro that killed 8 and injured 46. News items don't seem to be popular thread topics on the world forums.

Due to the many threads and popularity about the Phillipines, it certain warrants a sub-forum of its own under the Asia forum...i also feel China deserves its own sub forum too.

You've been a member for one day, why not just sit back and see how the forum works.

I can name half a dozen regular users off the top of my head. I can't do that for any other nationality.
