I read "Miss Wold 2013" of the Philippines is "Megan Young" is an American living in the Philippines .. meaning that he is an American ^ ^ I think he's pure Filipino but not.. ye a a a
by the way, 'Miss World 2013' is a SHE hehe... not a HE.
She's a half Filipina with dual citizenship because she was born in the US and raised there for 10 yrs. that's why she was able to represent the country because she holds Philippine Passport too and part of her being is Filipino. She can actually choose which country she will represent by holding 2 citizenship and she chose to represent the Philippines because her heart says she's 100% Filipina. She's excited to come home this coming Thursday for few days. I read in the article that She never denied being born in the US to an American father and Filipina Mother and was raised in the US for 10 yrs but since after that 10 yrs when they moved in the Philippines. Megan and her mother as well as her siblings considered the Philippines as their home country and Philippines will always be a home to Filipinos.
I know there's a lot of Indonesian that has Chinese descent. I have a colleague who is part Malaysian-Chinese married to Indonesian Chinese descent.
