This is going to be kind of a weird question. I want to know which regions of Turkey these foods would most likely come from if you were eating in Istanbul and compare it to where the same food from the far east like Van, Diyarbakir, Malatya, etc would come from. If anyone could even answer this.

yogurt, chicken, lamb, olives, wheat (for bread), peppers, olive oil.

Yogurt:as u know that it is a fermented milk product so it has to be come from places where livestock is developed.Eastern part of Turkey.Actually all over the country.

Chicken:Places like Çankırı, Eskişehir, Amasya, Afyonkarahisar, Bursa, Balıkesir, İzmir, İstanbul, Ankara.

Lamb:Inner part of Anatolia. Weastern part of eastern Anatolia, South eastern Anatolia.Aegean Region. Med. Region.
Places like Erzurum,Erzincan, Kars, Van, Bitlis, Bayburt Eskişehir Kütahya Sivas Bilecik Afyon Denizli İzmir Manisa Aydın Sinop Samsun Ordu Giresun Tokat Şanlıurfa Gaziantep Hatay Balıkesir Bursa

Olives:Mainly aegean region and med region and restricted area of northeastern part of the country.Cities like: Çanakkale Bursa Balıkesir İzmir Aydın Muğla Antalya Artvin.In the past Istanbul had olive trees but now no production.
Wheat:Everywhere expect black sea region(cos there is rainy in summer)Main cities: Konya, Edirne, Tekirdağ, Kırklareli.
Peppers:What kind of peppers are u talking about. Everywhere.
Olive Oil: it is the same as olives above.
