BKK doesn't really deserve the title, unless you want whores and debauchery. It offers more than that, like the culture and food, but it's not in the same class as NY, London, Tokyo, Hong Kong.

It always amazes me how people from developing nations always have this heightened sense of nationalism, lol. Whether it's certain posters from SEA or South America I never understood that. Yet, when they come live here they are the first people to put down their country

Heightened sense of nationalism, where do you see that in this thread? I doubt many Thais would put down their country. People from other countries might actually have a lot to criticize, but thats not Thailand thats some other country.

Post pictures of Bangkok or things found in Bangkok. That's always nice.

Dear FriendlyFeller
I think you are putting down yourself ,not me
I never think that I am the best but I never look down on others
Everybody can criticize in many points ,but shouldn't invade others

I'm not sure what you mean, I wasn't putting anybody down. I just meant Thais really have no reason to flee the country so I doubt you would hear many Thai immigrants complaining. Its not fair to lump them in with immigrants who had to leave because of a war or to escape a regime or something. I knew a girl that wanted to go to San Francisco to be a fashion designer, I don't think she didn't like Thailand, its just where you go to be a fashion designer I guess.
There was an article in the Bangkok Post today about record numbers of Thai tourists visiting Japan. Thais visit Japan in increasing numbers | Bangkok Post: news
