I am looking at purchasing tickets for the easytour.ae city bus tour. 10am until 2pm daily, or 4-8pm. Has anyone here used it, and can offer an opinion. The price is 69AED per person, which is less than half the price of the Big Bus tour. This is a deal from Cobone (similar to Groupon).

I am also looking at the afternoon-to-evening desert tours which typically sell for just under 100AED per person. I've checked them on Trip Advisor and some get poor reviews. The ones with the best reviews are $75-$100 each.

Advice welcome.

They do look down on them, just not verbally.
Their country is richer than many western developed countries, but they don't look down on westerners.
They just don't mingle with westerners because of big cultural differences.

I was just in Dubai recently. I love that city.

I've now also been to Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Doha/Qatar, and Doha/Muscat.

DUBAI blows them all out of the water by far, in every category. Just a great international city to spend some time in.

My family booked vacation trip to china has a 9 hr layover in dubai. Does DBX offer free rooms for flights with long layover?or any hotels inside the airport?

Emirates Airline offers free rooms if the layover is 8 hours or more, but it's not always available. Other conditions apply as well. You have to check the Emirates website for details. Good luck!
