The bigger problem for Japan is not whatever racism you might encounter, but whatever radiation you might encounter. The powers that be are lying about the amount of radiation from Fukushima. It's a global disaster.

I've subscribed to a couple of youtube channels of black folks who are teaching English in Japan. They seem to love it, and looks like they're living a pretty awesome life.

When we were in Japan late 90's early 2000's we had a Black Marine with us who was about 6'5" tall. He was a celebrity to the (especially women) Japanese we encountered. They all wanted to pose with him in pictures and smile and beamed widely at him. I did not get any sort of racism vibe and we spent time in Tokyo (Repungi), and many of the smaller towns. Even visited host families in Japan and had dinner with them. That Marine never went a weekend without bedding some giggly little Japanese chick. Bastard

Back in the day the Japanese were even more racist than white slave owners (shhhhhh, dirty little secret). They've changed a lot, but there's still probably some bad apples.

LOL, about the Mexican in the farming community getting harassed. What "farming" community and how long ago was that?
