Just about everywhere. If there was a World Cup for food, Asia would win it hands down.

Some Europeans foods are top-notch as well, French food aren't overatted like some people said, they're great! and so is German/Austrians.

I must say, the food that I've had here in China so far is AMAZING. Wow. So delicious... there's a tiny, dingy hole-in-the-wall noodle shop across the street from me that has vegetable noodle soup for 4 yuan, which is like 70 cents that's better than any Chinese soup I can recall having stateside, even in SF or LA.

Well aside from 'Mongolian beef' or 'Mongolian lamb' at the Chinese restaurant I haven't either, but from the looks of it, things like sheep's head soup and a lot of dairy things, or tea with butter, it is probably among my least favourite.

The only Asian country where I didn't enjoy the local food was Mongolian. However, Mongolians can do Western and other Asian foods pretty good.

Mongolians do western food pretty good? I'm surprised, haha. I'd be glad to find any western food at all in most of Mongolia.

In some ways Taiwan, Singapore actually do western food, especially American food, better than Australia. I had a great Philly cheese steak in Taipei. You can't even get Philly cheese in Australia. It's not hard to make anyway, I actually get oyster-blade beef from the Korean grocery to make it.
