In Tokyo, there is a decent amount of Indians and Nepalis running Indian restaurants and sometimes convenience stores, along with Koreans, Chinese, Thais, Taiwanese, and Vietnamese not being rare either. Turkish kebabs stores are seen occasionally and they are usually manned by Turkish people working there

Indians, Pakistanis, Nepalis and Sri Lankans are highly visible in HK, more than Tokyo.
Osaka has many Koreans.
Many malaysian citizens in Singapore day tripping or working, vice versa many Singaporeans in JB of Malaysia. The two countries are very close.
There are many Vietnamese women married to men in South Korea and Taiwan.
There are many Koreans born in China with Chinese nationality in South Korea.
Many women from the Phillippines and Indonesia working in HK and Macau.

Several years ago my seat mate on a flight from Tokyo to LA was an Indian whose parents had immigrated to Japan years ago. He lived in Tokyo and worked for a mainland Chinese company that made interior dash components for cars.

The mainland Chinese boss made several trips a year to Las Vegas. The boss picked up my seat mate in Tokyo and used him as an English translator and general errand boy. We were in tourist class and the boss and his entourage were up in first class.

And other places besides Asia you might not suspect. For some reason there appears a significant population of Koreans in Guatemala operating businesses. And it’s fairly recent starting back in the 1980’s. I
