I don't personally have a strong desire, but I have noticed that I've been to most of the countries all around it, and just keep missing or bypassing time available that I could see it.
Partially due to the high cost of the tourist visa. But, partially, not sure what else I'd do besides 'checkmark' the fact that I would have actually seen Bangladesh.
Anyone with a strong desire to visit Bangladesh, and if so, what is it that you mostly want to see or experience there?

I've always wanted to see how BANGLADESH can fit so many people in such a small country. Looking at BANGLADESH from Google Earth, I see mostly forest cover. Interesting to say the least I've only known one BANGLADESHI-American person, but didn't know how to speak her language. She cooked a mean curry beef though I always thought it was a more backwoodsy, Muslim version of INDIA.
My sister's friends went there and didn't like it. They said alot of the guys will gawk and leer at them. They even said the young boys(10-11yrs old) were trying to touch them in certain places. I was a bit surprised. I heard about these things on tv, but never knew it was this bad in reality.
I want to visit all Asian countries except Syria, Iraq, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Afghanistan, Pakistan and North Korea before visiting Bangladesh.
no. Although the current PM is trying to secularize the nation, its still islamic. But if I had to choose between pakistan and bangladesh, I would rather go to bangladesh.
If you really want to experience bengali (bangla) culture, just go to Kolkata, west bengal. Stay at the peerless inn.
