I'm afraid your wrong about China not having a genocide tarnishing its image. China has carried out its own genocide since 1949. The communist take over of 1949 BENEFITED the HUAN CHINESE minority over all other ethnic Chinese groups. In 1949 HUAN CHINESE statistically made up only 25 percent of China's population. Today HUAN CHINESE make up 85 to 90 percent of China's population. The communists since 1949 gave the best farming lands to the HUAN's and have let all of the other ethnic chinese die out by forcibly evicting people like the UYGHURS and putting them on less productive farms lands forcing their population to shrink by starvation in favor of the HUAN'S...

Secondly, the ratio of Han Chinese keeps dropping (NOT increasing) in China because they are subject to strict one-child policy which does not apply to minority groups. If you check the populations of Tibetans and Uyghurs in China, you will find they increase very fast.

Chinese civilization was (mainly) built by Han Chinese, and the minority groups are distributed in remote mountains and deserts. Of course the vast majority are Han.
In Germany, the vast majority are Germans. In Russia, the vast majority are Russians. In Japan, the vast majority are Japanese... So what's your problem?

We are talking about TODAY. Today, the vast majority of people in Germany are ethnic Germans, period. Every nation has a history of changes and every big ethnic group absorbed others. However Chinese demography has been like that for hundreds of years. It has nothing to do with communism.

There have been lots of contrived starvation programs in the world and most of them were performed by communists...under the guise of Politics. The Stalinist contrived Ukrainian famine of the 1930's
was just one of them
The number of Han Chinese as a proportion of Xinjiang's population increased dramatically from 6 percent in 1949 to over 40 percent in 1978. With the onset of Deng Xiaoping's economic reforms in the 1980s, migration and settlement into Xinjiang increased again.
Also the HAN did not always dominate China e.g. the Yuan and Qing dynasties were dominated by ethnic Mongols and Manchus after the 1911 revolution the HAN Chinese made a pact with the communists in order to take over China and suppress all other ethnic Chinese who were not HAN. Before the COMMUNIST REVOLUTION ETHNIC HAN WERE A PLURALITY OF CHINA'S POPULATION not an absolute majority.
