If you look on the map, the location is way southeast of Australia, towards Antarctica. There aren't even any islands nearby. I kept wondering why they would fly into the middle of nowhere. If it were terrorists, you'd think they'd want to go somewhere. Then it occurred to me that the pilots might have purposely flown this plane into the middle of nowhere so terrorists couldn't use it as a weapon on a populated area! Time will tell if I'm right.

In addition, you'd think the Australians would have picked up the plane on radar since the path would have gone through their Radar 2 path. Jindalee Operational Radar Network - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

We have no idea if this debris is related to the plane. Time will tell. The Chinese seem determined to at least find the debris and identify it, so, we'll see.

They may have flown the plane in that direction in order to avoid shipping routes, so as to avoid any accidents.

This is a HUGE issue that hopefully this tragedy will cause to be addressed, before more lives are lost. Is there any way to safely transport those batteries? I have my doubts.

confused as to why there has been no evidence of plane debris found, Malaysian prime minister had made a statement that the plane crashed in the Indian Ocean? I think it's a very remote location and how it could happen ?
I hope the black box soon found by the U.S. in order to find out the cause of a plane crash.
and Australia are very helpful in the search ^^^^

Hope they find the black box that will answer all those question on what really happened to the plane. There are so many different stories and it's questionable on how a plane went to the Indian Ocean instead of moving upward going to China.
