Malaysia airline standard is falling apart they may not stay long as 5 star aircraft if they keep up with the current standard, they are also not making so much money these years. Increasing number of budget airlines eclipses its profitability.

For the life of me, I don't understand why established airlines don't have a "luxury" brand and a "budget" brand, it seems like a no-brainer. I'm not an expert in labor law, but contracts with unions might hamper this in the US; however, it should be more feasible for many Asian airlines.

I hope they find the black-box for that plane; so everyone knows what went wrong, and perhaps the deceased's loved ones have some sense of closure.

I heard on CCTV English news channel that there hasn't been a crash of Malaysian airliner for nearly 20 years. Also there was a report of one of the passengers using a stolen Italian passport which was taken approx. 2 months ago in Thailand. The owner of the passenger called his relatives to say he wasn't on board the aircraft. The Italian Government has issued a statement that there were no Italian citizens on this plane.

Anyone else think terrorism? Most of the passengers are said to be Chinese nationals and the plane is obviously Malaysian, which is muslim and with the Chinese-Uygher tensions in the news lately, might have raised some anti-Chinese sentiments in the muslim world.
