Basically, a third world country with a third world, out of shape military that is better suited to corruption, kick backs and lubing the wheel of bureaucracy. The fact that a huge unidentified aircraft flew across the Malay peninsula and still did not illicit a massive air force response is just ridiculous. I can imagine a bunch of Malay so called air force personnel walking around in their cheap flip flops eating on the side of the road. Totally ridiculous.

From an outsider's perspective, this incompetence seems contained only to positions where graft and nepotism/cronyism are likely; i.e., government, and government-appointed positions.

Private industry, Malaysians are second to none, with a huge list of multi-national corporations that headquarter in Kuala Lumpur, among other industrialized cities. Education system is stellar. Most PARTICULARLY favorable to bumiputra, but in general, children get a good education in Malaysia, and it shows in the workplace.

"now i wonder why CNN and BBC seems to have more interesting with this plane problem rather than Crimea situation now."...

Simple. Because it's sexier to focus and sensationalize on all the conspiracy theories, and poke implicit fun at Malay incompetence than to dwell on a Russian claw slap across the collective faces of Obama and the entire Western European horde.

Russia won, and it's not going down well for CNN and BBC crowd.

CNN is called "Chinese Negative News" in China for good reason.
