Do you really think a first world people would allow their kids to pee on the main streets of a metropolis?
China is huge. There are people from the rural areas who have third world mindset that move to the city. On the other hand there is the city locals. you are just being narrow minded. You assume that majority of the people act like the minorities. China has the most people on earth. If 20 percent of the population act in a bad way, it can easily tarnish the whole country reputation. But this does not mean the majority act this way.

It's not third world? Then what is it, 1st world like Australia or Germany?

20% of 1.3 billion is not only overwhelming, but extremely fatal to the rest of the world.

At the risk of being simplistic, let's look at your 20% scale.

1,300,000,000 times .20=260,000,000 or 260 million uncouth people who are willing to pee on the street and kill whatever animal for a good "wild taste" feast....think of the impact on the earth!

I am not being narrow minded, I am afraid for the earth.

In the past, plague and wars have keep the population down. But now that China has modern medicine and a semblance of a functioning government, it needs to work on sustainability and rapid civilization, not just the rapid accumulation of wealth. This is where I think the Chinese government will have the greatest challenge.
