People of the Pacific still retain the original South East Asian Phenotype..... it has nothing to do with mixing.
They are just Asians with darker skin, just like most aboriginal South East Asians.
I do not subscribe to the myth that so called "mongoloid" Asian features are unique to or originated with Mongolians in central Asia.

Polynesians only left Asia a few thousand years ago at the earliest so they didn't change that much. The Papuans, Melanesian and Australian aborigines left much earlier so are of much different stock.

True, but they are all still Asians technically and the vids I posted are from Micronesia which is much closer to Japan and the Philippines than Polynesia which is closer to the Americas. And generally the original Polynesians looked more like the Melanesian and Micronesian people as a continuation of a tropical Asian population. However today with so much immigration to Hawaii and elsewhere things are a lot different.
Melanesia and Micronesia are both closer to the Asian mainland than Polynesia is.

Yes as I thought Micronesian is part of the Austronesian group. So yeah, they're basically Austronesians.

actually Austronesians is not Chinese or Han they " Austronesian" are native southeast or east Asia before Chinese Han or Other East Asian arrived, and all this time people always thought Austronesians were people from China who had slant eye eyes or fair skin as well or they are people Taiwanese Aborigines now who had a lot of Chinese mixed . if you want to know the most pure Austronesians in Indonesia are Mentawai people and Indonesia is the center of Austronesian :

Micronesians especially Guam and Mariana people are very similar to Indonesians then to Polynesians is different from most Indonesians, but more like East Indonesian especially people of Nusa Tenggara and Maluku.
