You'd hope they'd get to vote lol.

What about Indonesia's invasion of East Timor? Do you think that was fair?

Well they did get to chose to join which side, there was a treaty with netherland that once papua is relinquished it will be part of the country, the east timor issue wasnt fair because its not part of the dutch east indies, it was more of greed and lust for territory commited by suharto. The people also refuse to join indonesia so to be on their own is their right.

We are not an islamic state, we dont have official religion we are muslim majority country thats all, and well majority of indonesian know west papua but just not png.

Why unfortunately? Majority of the citizen of west papua us the one who decided to join indonesia in the first place and since it was dutch territory it makes it rightfully indonesian territory as well. With economic reboost and development of indonesia, west papua see png as backward country.

Anyway if it did become part of png or a free state it would just be another puppet of australia
Most of South East Asia has been a target of Western activities since before Vietnam. Heck, this goes all the way back to WWII. Just as Vietnam started as resistance to French attempts to recolonize them for their rice plantations. After Vietnam they just changed tactics from overt colonialism to neo-colonialism. The Dutch, Americans and other colonists always use populations as cattle for cheap labor, social engineering and manipulation of the masses. The companies run it all through exclusive land deals with government officials, bribes and kick backs.

countries such as Papua New Guinea, East Timor is a country that is very in love by Indonesian, and why Indonesia is want of this two country to join the ASEAN .. but in the case of East Timor which still not joined ASEAN because there are two countries in South East Asian who have not wanted East Timor to join in Asean except Indonesia, Philipines, Malaysia and Thailand who are eager to East Timor became a member of ASEAN.

As a Filipino, I think East Timor should have been automatically inducted as soon as they expressed their interest. Anyway who's blocking East Timor from joining in ASEAN? Am curious...

You just guess countries other than the four countries that I wrote above, we all want East Timor to be Asean countries because for so many years East timor waiting for it, East Timor like being a crossroads , they want to join the countries of Oceania but feel that their country is in the region of Southeast Asia, they want to join the Asean but there are still countries that have not received them .. hope timor as fast as join with Asean.
