They come to Singapore as "guests" and now acting like they are the owners of our land, not us locals.

Actually our government is to blame in a way, cos they are backing them up..

I don't get it, what issue do they have with the Filipinos?

What do you mean they are acting like they're owners of the land singaporelady?

Meanwhile, what is the government doing to ensure the rights of the thousands of Filipino domestic workers?

Ok .. Fillipinos aren't like Indians and PRCs who sometimes do not act too civilised, but I guess there are too many of them.. Orchard road on Sundays you can see many ..

If the fillipino community want to celebrate their day In Singapore, they should not do it in orchard road Singapore main area..

So next Americans will be asking to celebrate 4 July and PRCs celebrating 1 Oct in a public event in public area ? What will our aug 9 be then ?!!

In protest , someone have asked for a permet to hold a rally in the same area pinoys are celebrating the day at the same time same timing as a form of "protest " but the request for permit was not approved

I'm also wondering why? What's with the Singaporeans? Filipinos are all over the globe, from Asia to Europe to the Americas. They've been one of those that blend in with locals and in fact one of the most obedient citizens of any countries wherever they are. But why Singaporeans act that way? Threatened? Again, what's with you Singaporeans?

Just my personal opinion, fillipinos act as if they own Singapore wanting to celebrate their day in a Public event in public area in Singapore..

You don't see americans requesting to do that or PRCs requesting to do that for July 4 or oct 1, they know they are not in their homeland and what to do .

Just my 2 cents worth
