Chinese officials claim that the church was an illegal structure. So do you think this demolition has anything to do with persecution of Christians in China?

Of course the CNN can always read some more negatively about whatever happens in China.

It probably was indeed approved by officials via gift money. Thats why there are officials in custody... either that or they were members of the flock. Either way they were allotted a certain amount of space and went vastly over it.

They shouldn't have tried to circumnavigate the rules. Oh well, that'll teach em.
