Looking for others who are into Baybayin script. I have been studying Baybayin (also sometimes referred to as Alibata) for several years now. Although it is suppose to be a dead writing system...I read somewhere that the Mangyans of Mindoro still use this ancient writing system. If anyone out there knows anything more about the Baybayin writing system...I'd like to hear from you.

I found articles in Baybayin360 website about the writing (alphabet) system...but have not seen anything about writing numbers in Baybayin. I am still researching...but if anyone knows, appreciate hearing from you. Thanks.

Never mind...I found the answer. Paul Morrow, an expert on Baybayin e-mailed me that numbers were spelled out in Baybayin. So instead of writing 23...they would write- dalawampu't tatlo (two tens and three) in baybayin script. That's certainly a cumbersome way to write numbers...especially if you have to do an accounting or financial report.
