That is a flat out lie, NK is a great nation, along with SK. You have to understand, they are under a passive resistance approach. I mean yes the rules are like ancient time, but you have to admire how clean the streets look.

Yes it is a zillion times safer, when you have an super officer around every corner. Did you hear about the auto cannons they have installed?

Well saying it's a 'zillion times' safer than European countries is pretty misleading...

what is he suggesting, it's safer for tourists to visit NK? I'd still take my chances in Europe.

Even if you were to go to North Korea, you wouldn't be allowed to actually see North Korea. You'd be there and it would be like viewing the country from a Hollywood movie that only shows the good parts.

In recent years, many Chinese tourists got robbed in Paris and other European cities. Not to mention the thieves in Italy, oh.

There has never been any report of crime against tourists in North Korea.

No it's not. Keep your mouth shut, don't disrespect Kim Il-Seung, and you'll be in, quite possibly, the most crime free country in the world.

Not a chance! What I am talking about is that visiting North Korea is like visiting a supermaximum security prison in the fact that one false step will rather easily get you penalized by the North Korean authorities and likely even tossed into one of North Korea's brutal prison camps, although it would be worse for your guides. Plus, your money spent for the tour would go to support North Korea's brutal, iron-fisted dictatorship.

Which is why crime in North Korea is virtually non-existent

Were you fooled into vacationing in NK? I hate it when that happens

Do you have first-hand experience in North Korea? So you actually relocated there? Or are these all third-hand information? What did you expect anyway? That Pyongyang is like Seoul?
