I like Burma's (Myanmar's) outfits best because they are a better reflection of their traditional culture instead of western apparel.

ETA: Now that I watched the video - I am voting for the Philippines' flag bear bearer.

They all look quite similar to each other with the exception of the Vietnamese who stick out like sore thumb in my opinion.

I dont think the Vietnamese stand out. The Timorese stand out the most, but not too much. The Singaporeans also kind of stand out.

I disagree, the Vietnamese look the most different compared to other Southeast Asians because they have very obvious East Asian admixture. I'm not counting Chinese immigrants in Singapore, Malaysia, or Thailand when I draw the comparison.

For example the woman in the center of the screen capture here would look out of place amongst any other group of people there:

Most of the other nationalities seem to blend in with each other as they share similar features. I wouldn't be able to tell a Filipino from an Indonesian, Thai, or Cambodian for example.

You sounds really like a some source a Vietnamese nationalist who is going around some source of his own supremacist fantasy that no one else agreed with.

It's about common appearance and fashion style of each "nationality"(Just as the name of the topic said), there is no such need to dig into complex things of ethnicity made up and such historical things (and this is obvious that you are a Vietnamese nationalist who have racist ideology, that is why you tried to dig up things about ethnicity and historical of the people).

1.Singaporean has 75% of their population made up by Han-Chinese ethnic, if you don't count them. Who in Singapore you would count? (Minority like Indian or Malay?)

2.How do you know that the girl you took the screen shot isn't a Chinese ethnic immigrant to Vietnam? Since Vietnam has the clear history of get occupied by Han-Chinese for 1000 years. I could also make a statement such as "She is obviously a Chinese ethnic in Vietnam, not the Vietnamese ethnic".

Anyway, doesn't matter what she is. I still don't see how she is stand out when compare to Singaporean girls, Thai girls, Laotian girls and Burmese girls.

Burmese girls

Singaporean girls

Thai girls

Laotian girls
