I think PM Lee is doing fine unlike the opposition who just like to oppose or criticize but not propose or suggest their own better alternatives to any policies or issues presented by the ruling party.

The only situation Lee Hsien Loong will step down is his son is ready to assume PM position. I am not kidding.

I do not think so. Singapore will have dramatic change after LKY died. The only difference is going up or going down. Liberals will have huge objection toward current Singapore system and new leadership (if not from Lee family) will portraying like liberals at California.

So, it is hard to say right now. From conservative perspective, Lee's grandson is the best choice to maintain the current prosperity of Singapore.

Singapore's princeling .. Lee kuan yew grandson Li Hongyi is only 27 this year , he keeps a pretty low profile and if I am not wrong is currently in Silicon Valley and serving his scholarship bond..from what have been told , he have not indicated any interest in following his father and grandfather footsteps to enter politics ..

Lee hsien loong brother's son , lee Sheng wu seems to have a stronger interest in politics though ..

Why do most of them have Chinese given names?

Most of the more westernised elite in S'pore seem to have English given names...
